This paper will cover the berth of texting while control. You will meet a young adult female who has received a text while she is driving. Although she knows that texting while driving is ineligible, and dangerous, she will still reply to the text.
Meet Mary
Mary is on her way to work. As she is driving she hears a tune, and knows it is a text. She feelings around, she knows it is illegal to text while driving, but she is expecting and important text from her daughter. She debates whether to look or not. On one hand she knows that it is dangerous, that it can mite to wrecks. She finally decides, her daughter is pregnant, and is due today. As she reaches for her phone she takes her eye of the busy road to reach for her phone. As she takes her eyes by the road, the light in front of her turns red, she does not see this and keeps departure into the intersection. In that split second, she gets hit from the side. If she had listened to her instincts and did what she knew was right, she would not have been in this predicament.
Attitudes and Behavior A Reciprocal Relationship
Attitudes form when humans move with the world around them. Attitude refers to peoples paygrade of virtually any aspect of their genial world (Baron, Branscombe, & amp; Byrne, 2009, p. 148). Attitudes form about anything and everything, including people, places, ideas, subjects, objects, and actions (such as texting while driving). The influence of a persons attitudes affects his or her thoughts and carriages. Strength, certainty of attitudes, personal experiences, and friendly context will determine the consistency of attitude-behavior bonds (2009).
