In the novel Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta, Josie meets her dad, Michael Andretti for the first time. This was her insurgent time meeting Michael, in her Nonnas house for a barbeque party. They are surprised to meet individually opposite in such place, and how they react to each other. This event unaccompanied seems to make their life a lot better towards the demolition of the novel.
Josie meets her long lost dad, Michael Andretti, in her Nonnas Barbeque party. then Christina and Michael went into the kitchen to have a private talk. Josie was eavesdropping on the intercourse only when Josie wasnt the only person who was eavesdropping; Nonna was listening to the private conversation between Josies parents and she gives Josie a weird look. Josie talks with Michael afterwards that and makes a conclusion where they will keep out(a) of each others life. As you wad see, Josie is very waste and says a lot of things to make Michael very angry. For example, she says Who cares…… I basis go as far as I homogeneous with you and there is nothing you mint do.

After this, Michael gets really angry at her and makes a concluding promise that if Josie keeps out of his life, he will keep out of hers. I can tell clearly that Josie is really fed up and does not want him ever in her life, because he fled after sleeping with Josies mother, Christina, eighteen years ago and giving her so much pain in a young age.
We can see that Josie is not a person that forgives people who yen other people who are close to her. So I can definitely say that in this event, she is not so happy about meeting her dad, in fact, she doesnt even want him to come in to her life.
