The treatment of women in Asian society is treated delicately and is very important to the texts I have chosen.

How is the theme ‘treatment of women in Asian society’ portrayed by authors and directors?
In A Thousand glorious Suns, Khaled Housseini has used third person point of view from an wise narrator. This provides the greatest flexibility for the writer as they have numberless knowledge. We get an in-depth insight into the hardships experienced by the two rudimentary characters Mariam and Laila.
