Divorce is a enormous topic in the midst of the church and can be a bit controversial at times. I turn out witnessed many marriages fall apart and end up in divorce, and it is nonhing pretty. The Bible talks about divorce; and it speaks all the way on it. I for virtuoso am against divorce. If Tom and Jane approached me, forward they were to make any decision that could radically change their lives, I would give them my opinion and relate it to the scriptures and show them where I am coming from.
The Bible, in the very beginning says in contemporaries 2:24, For this reason a man will make his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will plough peerless flesh. Walter A. Elwell in his book says, Marriage is an exclusive relationship. Marriage is not to be amidst more than one person at the same time, it is not to be between a man and another man or a woman with another woman. The Bible is clear that it is supposed to be between one man and one woman. Marriage should not be within the family.



For example, a brother should not link sister or an aunt marry her nephew. In the age of the New Testament, the woman was expected to be a staring(a) and the husband had one day to prove otherwise. The marriage would be considered valid only after a week of documentation together as a husband and wife. Currently, as call backrs, we believe that two should not be unevenly yoked.
The Bible considers two people married when they enter into a covenant between themselves and God. There must be an event, action, covenant, or proclamation that is recognized as declaring a man and woman to be married. I personally do not think a safe and sound lot has changed when it comes to being considered a married couple.
