Every parent loves his/her own children and in whatever they do, children are their utmost priority. All parents would do their best in providing and pity for their child, thus whatever their children request, parents naturally would try to fulfill it. simply in this highly competitive society in capital of Singapore, parents from antithetical walks of life would work very hard and earn income to return for their family, thus most of the times neglecting their children. To make up for that wish of bonding time, some/many parents would widen the boundary they situated for their children to give them much freedom to do what they want and often, things go awry. Hence, I agree that parents today give their children too much freedom.

As mentioned in the earlier paragraph, many families in Singapore are able to sustain themselves and are either snug or above average in the monthly porcine income they earn. But as the competition in the society grows, the measuring stick of money that our parents bring back are shrinking in size, moreover this situation is aggravated by the global sparing problem.



However, what seems contradictory is that with the shrinking income, the freedom that parents give to their children is increasing and as time passes, this would become a vicious cycle with dreadful consequences. Thus, with this shrinking income, parents have to work harder and neglecting their children, hence giving them more freedom

With the extra freedom their children have, the chances of them becoming mischievous and committing foolish workings double.
