The Great Depression ravaged Americas economy. Un-employ ment was at an all while juicy and families were struggling to buy simple things like food. Luxuries could not be afforded at that time. Spending was at an all time low, many businesses tanked and went bankrupt. and so when America entered World War II our economy grew by leaps and bounds. People suddenly had jobs, the un-employment percent dropped dramatically. Families now had cash to overhaul on food and luxuries. We were finally coming out of the depression. When men went off to fight in the war, women were left to take up the jobs that the men left behind. Along with the jobs women seemed to take another step ship in equality. Now women were allowed out of the house to make a living. Women took jobs such as police officers, and some even went into manual of arms labor. Women working increased our econmy.

Sometimes two family members working meant increased gold flow into the household and thus they spent more money and in turn stimulated the economy. Now that more mountain were working buisnesses started to once again flourish. Many autombile empires had to make war time materials such as plane parts and tanks. The demand for mass produced guns were exalted and buisnesses had to make them. Anything needed was built and we saw buisnesses boom once again. sword mills had to produce massive quantities of metal to keep up with the demand of it.
